Flag an Ingredient

Found something in your food, your shampoo, or your cleaning cupboard that you cannot pronounce and cannot find a straight answer about? Tell me what it is. I research it and, if it clears the bar, it goes on the Dirty List. I cannot read every label in every store. Most of what ends up on the list will be something a reader found first.

What gets an ingredient on the list
  • Real evidence of harm from a named source, such as an IARC classification, an NTP listing, Prop 65, EPA IRIS, an ECHA entry, or peer-reviewed research.
  • Real human exposure by any route. Eaten, breathed or absorbed through skin all count the same.

It does not need to be banned anywhere, and it does not have to be food.

Copy it off the label exactly if you can. A partial name is still useful.
Product or brand. Optional, but it makes this much faster to check.
How does it get into you?Tick everything that applies. This is genuinely the part that decides whether it qualifies.
What you noticed, what you read, or what you could not find an answer to. Plain words are fine.
A study, an article, or the product page. Optional.
Optional. Used only to tell you what we found. Nothing else, no list.
